HOURS OF OPERATION

CENTER HOURS

Early Education Programs (Infants – Academic Threes)

Monday  – Friday

7:00 am – 6:00 pm

 

School Age (Pre-K – First Grade):

Monday  – Friday

7:00 am – 6:00 pm

 

School-Age Enrichment Before & After School Program:

7:00 am -9:00 am

And

3:30 pm – 6:00 pm

 

HOLIDAYS

Quality Time Learning Center operates Monday through Friday; fifty-two weeks a year, with the exception of the following days:

  • New Year’s Day
  • Martin Luther King Day
  • President’s Day
  • Good Friday
  • Memorial Day
  • Independence Day
  • Labor Day
  • Professional Days: 3 days in August, comprised of Thursday, Friday and the following Monday immediately preceding the start of the new school year.
  • Indigenous People’s Day
  • Juneteenth Day
  • Veteran’s Day
  • Thanksgiving Day
  • Friday after Thanksgiving
  • Christmas Eve: Closed at 1:00 p.m.
  • Christmas Day
  • New Year’s Eve: Closed at 1:00 p.m.
  • Presidential Inauguration Day (Every 4 years)

EMERGENCY CLOSING:

Weather conditions may sometimes require the Center to close early or open late. For inclement weather or emergency-related closings, Quality Time will follow the federal government closing announcements, i.e., if the federal government is CLOSED; QTLC will also be CLOSED. In the event that Montgomery County Public Schools are delayed, QTLC will open on time. In the event that Montgomery County Public Schools are closed, QTLC will open at 9:00 a.m. for the early education program. Our Kindergarten and First Grade will be closed.

In the event of an early closing due to worsening weather conditions, parents should make arrangements to pick up their children early. Additionally, Quality Time Learning Center is registered with www.classdojo.com,where information regarding school closings is reported. Announcements will also be made on WTOP Radio and WUSA Channel 9. For weather-related closings, please consult with one of the aforementioned sources or call the school for more information.  Due to the nature and size of our program, QTLC is unable to contact parents individually regarding emergency closings.
